In 1954, Service d’eau douce Culligan Inc. was born in Quebec City, under the enlightened leadership of Mr. Jules Martineau. Under his wise leadership, the company quickly forged an enviable reputation, distinguishing itself in various fields such as residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial services.

Some thirty years later, George Martineau, Mr Martineau’s son, took over the reins of the family business, infusing his own vision of business while preserving the values and quality of service for which the company was renowned. Successive acquisitions helped the company grow, integrating already established and respected companies in Sainte-Marie de Beauce, Sherbrooke, Granby and Saint-Paul d’Abbotsford.

In 2022, Mr. Martineau handed over the reins of the company to two experienced entrepreneurs: Mr. Simon Douville and Mr. Jerome Guimont. They wanted to preserve the company’s core values of expertise and quality of service, and set about modernizing the business to ensure continued growth. In 2023, they acquired Culligan Montreal Vaudreuil to become the only Culligan franchisee in Quebec.

Now covering a large part of the province with a team of over 30 highly qualified employees, Groupe Culligan Québec maintains its excellence thanks to its efficient service, the quality of its products and the expertise of its staff.
